PhD and Postdoctoral positions available in the area of quantum algorithms and quantum optics (see below).
PhD position in Quantum Optics and Computing (DTP call)
Application deadline: 27th February 2023
The University of Exeter, Department of Physics, opens a call for PhD positions. If you are passionate about quantum and have a suitable background, please do consider to apply.
The project description and application procedure is posted at the university webpage. To apply
please contact Dr Oleksandr Kyriienko as a potential supervisor.
Postdoctoral Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in Quantum Machine Learning: Generative Modelling
Application deadline: 02nd January 2023 [now closed]
We are expanding the quantum algorithms team in the area of quantum machine learning with near- and mid-term quantum devices. Our goal is developing
protocols for developing protocols for generative modelling and solving stochastic differential equations using quantum computers and simulators. The position is sponsored by an
industrial partner, and requires a strong mathematical background, preferably with prior QC experience. Importantly, a successful applicant will be industry-inclined,
and potentially willing to join the rapidly developing quantum start-up community.

Postdoctoral Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in Quantum Machine Learning: Topological Data Analysis
Application deadline: 01 December 2022 [now closed]
We are inviting applications of researchers to join our Innovate UK-sponsored project on quantum topological data analysis. We will work on near- and mid-term TDA applications, and
develop protocols that can run on real hardware. The position assumes a close collaboration with an industrial partner, and requires a strong mathematical background, preferably with prior QC or quantum optics experience.
The project description and application link can be also found at jobs.ac.uk. To apply please follow to the University of Exeter recruitment page.
